About

'About Angels, etc'  is a modern film that uses the Synthesis of Arts approach, combining film, music, dance, still picture montage, and poetry.

It is based on V. Ulea's book of poems, entitled 'About Angels, About God, About Poetry.'

A myth about how angels were created never existed before. until now.

Angels were God's first clones.

They appeared before His concept of sex.

It took God a while till He saw the wrongs

Of that system of reproduction, far from success.

- by V. Ulea  'About God, About Angels, About Poetry' (Livingston Press, 2002)

This film develops the myth of how god created angels out of loneliness. He wanted to communicate with intellectual creatures, but alas, angels were too programmed and too obedient to have any intellectual and thought provoking conversations. they were unable to develop. So god decided to make his next creation - Man. He called him Adam. God was pleased with his new creation, but only for a short while, until he began to notice that Adam had no initiative. God didn't like this lack of desire and risk taking, which man didn't seem to have. To fix it, god found Adam's center of curiosity.

The center of curiosity is linked to tickling.

Most of which is located in ribs.

So Eve appeared at the end of the evening,

Holding her smile in the kind, plump lips.

- by V. Ulea  'About God, About Angels, About Poetry' (Livingston Press, 2002)

Eve turned out to be extremely curious and pioneering. She convinced Adam to taste the forbidden fruit and, thus, the new era for mankind began. Having mixed feelings, god banished his developed children from the Garden of Eden, to once again spend His eternal existence in loneliness.

 Commentaries

"Congratulations on your wonderful piece of work. Your entire family demonstrated great artistic talent and imagination with your piece. The attention to detail was noted, as well. As a ballet lover, I really enjoyed watching the dancers, who were also wonderful actors. I wish you great success as About Angels, Etc. is screened around Philadelphia, the country, and the world."
